Community Feeding – Buy Fair to Sustain livelihoods
Purchase high-quality sheep and distribute the meat to internally displaced communities in Ethiopia
The project focuses on internally displaced Muslim communities originating from the Ethiopian-Somali region and settled on the outskirts of Addis Ababa who are unable to return due to civil conflict.
The high-quality sheep reared by the IDP community will be purchased at fair prices, slaughtered and distributed to families within the IDP camps, many of whom haven't consumed meat since Eid-ul-Adha.
£85 per sheep, this includes:
- High-quality sheep purchase
- Slaughtered and meat distributed to 8-10 IDP families (widows, orphans & poor)
