Understanding Our 100% Donations Policy 

At Amanah Global Relief (AGR), we're committed to transparency and ensuring that every penny of your donation directly impacts those in need.

Here's how our donations policy works:

1. Where Your Donations Go

When you donate to AGR, your entire donation goes towards directly aiding those in need and none of it is used to cover our administrative expenses. We cover all our administrative costs, including salaries, rent, and utilities, through avenues like Gift Aid and our Waqf initiatives, ensuring that your donation fulfils its intended purpose.

All of your donation is used strictly to provide aid to the poor and needy, including delivery costs.

2. Accountability and Monitoring Costs of Projects

Costs incurred to aid accountability and our monitoring of projects to ensure transparency, effectiveness and impact, as well as contributions we make towards a partner's permanent administrative setup are funded from our dedicated administrative income which includes contributions from avenues like Gift Aid and our Waqf endeavors. These costs are not funded through donations, whether Zakah, Sadaqah or Sadaqah Nafilah (Lillah), ensuring that every penny of your donation is used to aid those in need.

3. Gift Aid and Waqf Explained

In the UK, Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers. This means for every pound donated, AGR can claim an additional 25p from the government, making your donation go further at no extra cost to you.

Waqf Endeavours: Waqf is a charitable endowment in Islamic tradition. At AGR, we invest in Waqf endeavours using separate dedicated funds. These funds are not sourced from donations. The profits generated from Waqf investments are used towards our administrative costs, ensuring that every penny of your donation directly benefits those in need.
