At Amanah Global Relief, every penny you give to our appeals goes directly to those in need. We never use your Zakat, Sadaqah or Lillah donations to pay for our running costs.
Instead, our administrative costs are covered separately through Gift Aid, income from our Waqf endowments, and the generosity of supporters who choose to give specifically towards them. An Admin Contribution is exactly that: a voluntary gift that helps us run the charity well, so that every other donation can reach its intended cause in full.
What your contribution supports
Your Admin Contribution helps cover the essential costs behind our work, including:
- the salaries of the team who manage our programmes and look after our donors
- office rent, utilities and systems
- monitoring and evaluation visits that keep our projects accountable and effective
- support for the administrative setup of our overseas partners
- governance, audit and compliance, so we meet the standards expected of a registered charity
Why it matters
Strong administration is not a luxury. It is what makes aid safe, accountable and lasting. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught that Allah has prescribed excellence in everything, and that includes how we manage the trust you place in us. Your contribution helps us deliver our programmes with the care and transparency they deserve.
Please note
Admin Contributions must not be paid from your Zakat. If you wish to give Zakat, please donate to our Zakat Fund instead, where it will be spent strictly on Zakat-eligible projects as approved by scholars.
Admin Contributions are used only towards AGR's administrative and support costs and are not allocated to our appeals.
